Greta DENISOVA, who was eleven years old when Quixote and Sancho was created in 2001, graduated from the START architecture school of design in 2003 and is a pupil of the Moscow City Children?s Art School No. 1. She has exhibited works in shows in Russia and France and, since the age of six, has published her works in the journals Young Artist, Stool and others. In 2001, she took first place in the Blue Beret competition of creative works by children, organized by the Information Center of the United Nations in Moscow. In 2002 she was named the winner of the Ship of Architecture competition at the 10th International Zodchestvo [Architecture]-2002 Festival for her design of a flying and sailing machine modeled after Vladimir Tatlin?s Monument to the 3rd International. She was a winner of the Moscow New Names festival of children?s art in 2003.
Quixote and Sancho marked her debut as a stage designer.
