Oksana Mysina will visit Double Edge Theater in Ashfield, MA, from August 20 to 25 to see a performance of Stacy Klein's production of “Arabian Nights.” Oksana and Stacy are discussing a potential collaboration for next year's summer schedule at Double Edge.

Oksana Mysina and her band Oxy Rocks were asked to contribute a song to the latest version of the «Rock 4 Life» series of CDs, which are available on iTunes. This disc, which is expected to be mastered in the next month or so, will include bands from all over the world. Some of the bands on the disc with Oksana are: Ilor Agoli (Greece), Macka (Australia), Avalla Session (Japan), Scattered Indulgence (Australia), Foreign Resort (Denmark) and D. O. G. M. A. (Greece). Oksana and band will be represented by their song “Persona non grata.”

Oksana Mysina, Sergei Garmash and Kamil Tukaev recently recorded the text of Anton Chekhov's vaudeville “The Bear“ under the direction of puppet director Vladimir Biryukov in Moscow. Biryukov, a two-time Golden Mask award nominee, will stage a puppet production of „The Bear” next season at the puppet theater in Kostroma. The lead roles will be performed by Oksana and Sergei's voices. The show is expected to open in September.

Oksana Mysina and her group Oxy Rocks will perform at the new Pyatnitsa club on July 11 at 9 p.m. The band will play a mix of songs from its first album, the second album-in-making and a selection of their popular covers, including songs by Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker and The Beatles. The Pyatnitsa club already has a reputation for its tasty cocktails and pleasant atmosphere. The owners have also collaborated with the popular Moscow theater, the Playwright and Director Center, on the show “God is a DJ.” In fact, following the Oxy Rocks concert the club will turn its dance floor over to its popular DJs. Pyatnitsa is located at Ulitsa Pyatnitskaya, 3/4.
