Galina Yevtushenko's film, “They Preserve So Much that is Dear,” a documentary about the playwright Nikolai Erdman and the actress Angelina Stepanova, will be shown at the Jewish Center on July 17 at 7 p.m. In the film Veniamin Smekhov speaks for Erdman and Oksana Mysina is the voice of Stepanova.Free invitations can be obtained by calling the center at 645-5000. [6-07-2008] Congratulations to Robert Olinger and Ilze Rudzite!

Two of the finest graduates of Kama Ginkas's directing class at the Moscow Art Theater School have staged and performed one of their most impressive spectacles — their own wedding. Robert and Ilze were married in the United States on July 5. Robert is one of Oksana Mysina's best friends and most trusted colleagues. His fabulous photograph of Oksana's production of “Quixote and Sancho“ graces the home page of her website. He has worked with Oksana in countless countries as Ginkas's right hand man both backstage and onstage in Ginkas's famous production of „K. I. from'Crime'.” Ilze has not yet worked with Oksana — but that oversight can always be remedied. Congratulations Robert and Ilze!
