Two songs by Oxy Rocks — “The Message“ and „Ooh Yeah,” with music by Dmitry Yershov and lyrics by Oksana Mysina — will be included in “Bloody Mary,“ the TV mini-series currently being filmed by Nonna Agadzhanova. Oksana, who is starring in the comedy with Gennady Khazanov, Valery Garkalin and Vladimir Dolinsky, will sing “Ooh Yeah” as a duet with Garkalin, who plays her lover. „The Message” will accompany a scene featuring Khazanov. The film is tentatively expected to run in ten segments on Channel One early in the winter.

It was with great sorrow and deep regret that we learned of the death of Rein Liblik on July 1 at 8 a.m. Rein was a tremendous friend, a talented director and a generous man. Oksana Mysina worked with Rein on his film “Silhouette in the Opposite Window” in 1992 — one of her first significant roles in a feature film — and she has loved and respected him as a friend and colleague ever since. Rein, in his films, worked with numerous accomplished actors. Two of his films starred the great Georgian actor Ramaz Chkhekvadze. He also worked with Sofiko Chiaureli (on his student diploma film) and Igor Volkov. Innokenty Smoktunovsky did the voiceovers for Chkhekvadze in the film “The Return of Nasreddin.” In recent years Rein has worked primarily in television and as a teacher at the Institute of Contemporary Art. Rein will be sorely missed by everyone who ever worked with him. He was 54 years old.

Oksana Mysina and Galina Yevtushenko will attend the 10th All-Russian Festival of Visual Arts in Orlyonok between July 3 and 9 for a showing of the film, “They Preserve All that is Dear,” Yevtushenko's documentary about the relationship between Russian playwright Nikolai Erdman and actress Angelina Stepanova.
