Nadezhda Ptushkina has completed the filming of her latest movie, an adaptation of her own comedy, „Bravo, Laurencia!” The film stars Oksana Mysina as a woman whose family is confused and then pulled together when she gives birth to her first child — a baby boy of African descent. Also starring in the film are Lidia Savchenko as Oksana's mother, Pyotr Barancheev as the husband and Larisa Luppian as his mother.

Oksana Mysina will chair the jury for the animated film section of the Golden Knight Film Festival in Mineral'nye Vody in the Caucasus. This year the annual festival of contemporary film from around the world will run from May 22 to 31.
