Oksana Mysina will be in Tomsk on May 20 and 21 for special showings of Galina Yevtushenko's film, “They Preserve So Much that is Dear,” a documentary about the playwright Nikolai Erdman and the actress Angelina Stepanova. Oksana is the voice of Stepanova in the film, which will be shown three times at the Oktyabr cinema in Tomsk. The first showing, on May 20 at 1 p.m., is a special screening for the press. The two public showings (May 20 at 4 p.m. and May 21 at 5 p.m.), will be followed by question-and-answer sessions with spectators.

Oksana Mysina and her rock band Oxy Rocks will perform on Thursday, May 18, in Tambov. The occasion will be the closing of the “Life Without Narcotics” project which will be taking place throughout the Tambov region during the week. The concert will be held at the Tambov Philharmonia.

Oksana Mysina is currrently taking part in a new drama project sponsored by the Swedish embassy in Moscow. Working with the Swedish director Mathias Lafolie, she is rehearsing parts in several contemporary Swedish plays that will be presented at special readings in Kazan (May 17), Nizhny Novgorod (June 2) and Moscow, at the Meyerhold Center (2 p.m., June 17). The primary play the group is working on is Erik Uddenberg's “Father Slaughter.”

On Friday May 12 Oksana Mysina and her rock band Oxy Rocks will perform at the Poslednye den'gi club, located at Bol'shaya Sadovaya 5, stroenie 1 (behind the Pekin Hotel). Metro Mayakovskaya. Tel. 209-3905. The concert begins at 8 p.m.
