Teatr.doc hosts special performances on April 5 at noon in order to coincide with a demonstration titled “For Creative Freedom” that will take place in Novosibirsk at precisely that time. The demonstration's organizers wish to remind their city and country that Novosibirsk is a center of science and universities, not a place where theater is persecuted and productions are banned. Taking place in the performances at Doc are: poets Andrei Rodionov and Rodion Beletsky, playwrights Mikhail Durnenkov and Maksym Kurochkin, actors Oksana Mysina, Tatyana Vladimirova and Valentin Samokhin, as well as poet and singer Marina Kleshchyova.

Olesya Fokina's new documentary, “The Boys and Girls of 'Doctor Zhivago',” will premiere at the Cinema House in Moscow on April 5 at 6 p.m. in the big hall. Numerous people will participate in the event, including Irakly Kvirikadze, Vadim Abdrashitov, Marlen Khutsiev, Yury Rost and Oksana Mysina, who will recite poetry translated from the Georgian by Pasternak.
