We recently learned that Oksana Mysina and her band Oksana Mysina and Oxy Rocks took second place in the Frank Zappa Rock Festival contest — some 2 years ago! Since the organizers never found the time to inform us, we're just getting around to publishing the information here. The 2nd-place winning song was “Blues Rock Mood.” The band's next concert takes place at the Bilingua Club in Moscow on April 13 at 9 p.m.

On the eve of her birthday, Oksana Mysina will take part in Yulian Makarov's „Lead Role” program on the Culture channel. First broadcast is March 14 at 7:45 p.m.; it will be repeated March 15 at 10:15 a.m. They will discuss Oksana's recent new theater performances.

Polish playwright Joanna Owsianko's play “Tiramisu” was given a staged reading last night, March 8, at the School of Dramatic Art. The cast consisted of Oksana Mysina, Vera Romanova, Olga Balandina, Anna Litkens, Viktoria Pikos, Alla Kazakova and Igor Yatsko. Yatsko also directed. There are plans to include this staged reading in the theater's repertoire.
