Throughout the night of Nov. 12-13 Oksana Mysina participated in an experimental project of skype performances organized by The Internationalists. Entitled “Long Distance Affair,” the show presented a dozen actors in as many countries playing interweaving ten-minute skits nine times in a row for revolving audiences of one who followed the action on Skype in New York. Working in the entryway of her apartment building and in her own kitchen, Oksana played a woman held under house arrest who is trying to pass a message to her son in New York… Or was she making that up? The play was written by Romanian playwright Peca Stefan, directed by the American Doug Howe, and the project was conceived by the Romanian director Ana Margineau.
