Nov. 31 at 9 p.m. an evening marking the premiere of the documentary film “A Countess in the Land of the Bolsheviks. Alexandra Khokhlova” will be held at the Eisenstein Cinema Library in Moscow. The film tells the story of the legendary actress who was unfairly forgotten for decades. Participating in the evening will be the actress's granddaughter Yekaterina Khokhlova, the filmmakers and Oksana Mysina, who is the off-camera voice of the film.

Oksana Mysina returned from India today where she presented Vitaly Melnikov's new film „The Admirer” at Delhi University on Oct. 26. After the showing, Oksana took part in a master class on the theme of “Artists Biographies as Objects of Art.”

Vitaly Melnikov's film „Poor, Poor Pavel” will be shown on the Our New Cinema TV channel Oct. 8 at 10:15 p.m. and for nightowls will be repeated Oct. 9 at 4 a.m. Viktor Sukhorukov plays Emperor Pavel, Oksana Mysina plays Empress Maria Fyodorovna, Oleg Yankovsky plays the scheming Count Palen.

On Saturday Oct. 6 Oksana Mysina will perform her one-woman show “The Theater of Medea” during the Solo Festival at the Theater Center Na Strastnom. The play is by Klim, it was directed by Vladimir Berzin. Curtain is at 9 p.m.

The fifth annual „East and West. Classic and Avant-garde” film festival opened on Oct. 1 in the Russian city of Orenburg. Oksana Mysina was on hand to participate in the opening gala concert. Today, Oct. 3, Oksana will present Vitaly Melnikov's latest film, “The Admirer,” a creative look at an episode drawn from the life of Anton Chekhov. The jury foreman at this year's festival is the famous Polish film director Krzysztof Zanussi.
