Today Boris Alexandrovich Lvov-Anokhin, my beloved director, would have turned 80. It is a miracle when people like him, artists with such subtle souls appear in the world. They are not drawn in by the chase for fashion. Why should they? People like him create fashion themselves.
Lvov-Anokhin was subtly simple. He had a brilliant way of dealing with the elements. He knew how to express passion without pathos. He was blessed with irreproachable taste. He understood paradox and effortlessness, tragedy and irony. His eyes shone with joy and sly wit when he worked.
He was a great creator. His fantasy knew no bounds. He gave me the gift of the Big Stage. His book of fantastic lessons is always with me.
People we love do not die. Happy birthday, B. A!

Oksana Mysina's rock band Oxy Rocks will play a special concert for the teachers and pupils of Moscow school 144 on Friday, October 5.

Oksana Mysina will perform in two productions in October. On the 14th at 7 p.m. at Theater Luny she plays in Alexander Ogaryov's production of Alexander Chugunov's play, “Libido.” On the 31st at 8 p.m. at the Young Spectator Theater, she plays in Kama Ginkas's famous production of “K. I. from'Crime',“ based on segments of Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel „Crime and Punishment.”
