“Blues-Rock Mood,” the new album by Oksana Mysina and Oxy Rocks, is released this week. Due to an actor's illness, “Quixote and Sancho“ will be performed tonight in place of the announced „Ariston.” Tickets purchased in advance will still be honored of course. „Quixote and Sancho” also plays tomorrow, Jan. 23, at the ApARTe Theater. “Ariston” is next scheduled for the end of February.

Oksana Mysina will be busy next week. Her productions of „Ariston” and „Quixote and Sancho” play at the ApARTe Theater on Monday, Jan. 22, and Tuesday, Jan. 23, respectively. On Saturday, Jan. 27, Oksana's rock band Oxy Rocks presents its new album “Blues-Rock Mood” with a concert at the Eldar Club. The Bakhrushin Museum in Moscow will host a program honoring the memory of Boris Lvov-Anokhin on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 4 p.m. Lvov-Anokhin was a prominent director from the 1950s until his death in the year 2000. Oksana Mysina, who worked closely with Lvov-Anokhin, starring in all of his productions over the last 7 years of his life, will speak at the ceremonies. Peter Greenaway's extraordinary trilogy „The Tulse Luper Suitcases” will play in Moscow from Friday, Jan. 19 to Thursday, Jan. 25 at the Fitil cinema. Pavel Podkladov recently published an interview with Oksana Mysina in a well-known newspaper. As it happened, the editors allowed themselves to make numerous unauthorized changes in Oksana's text, frequently attributing to her words she did not say. Moreover, one of the two photos they printed was not of Oksana. The critic Boris Poyurovsky will host an evening titled «The 12 Apostles» at the Actors House on Wed., Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. Among others, it will honor the director Boris Lvov-Anokhin (1927-2000). Oksana Mysina, who performed in Lvov-Anokhin's last four productions, will be one of the performers taking part. The Actors House is located on Kaloshin Pereulok, just across from the Vakhtangov Theater on the Arbat.

Oksana Mysina will discuss her rock band Oxy Rocks, the band's new album “Blues-Rock Mood” and her Jan. 27 concert at the Eldar Club on the “Blue Living Room” program on Moscow's Western Okrug TV. The program will air on Friday, Jan. 19 at 8:45 a.m. and will be repeated at as-yet unspecified times on Sat., Sun. and following days.
