Vitaly Melnikov is at work in St. Petersburg filming his latest movie. It is a biopic about Anton Chekhov and its working title is Lions, Eagles and Partridges. Kirill Pirogov is playing Chekhov and Svetlana Ivanova is playing Lidia Avilova. Svetlana Kryuchkova, Alexei Devotchenko and Oksana Mysina play a trio of bohemians from Chekhov's circle.

[5-03-2010] Oksana Mysina Joins Eldar Ryazanov to Honor Andrei Petrov
On March 7 at 9:25 p.m., the Culture Channel will air a concert that was organized and hosted by film director Eldar Ryazanov in honor of his friend and frequent collaborator, the composer Andrei Petrov. Numerous actors, singers and musicians sing songs that Petrov wrote for some of the most popular films in Russia. Oksana Mysina, backed by the SymphoJazz Orchestra, sings Petrov's «Generals of 1812,» based on a poem by Marina Tsvetayeva.
