Oksana Mysina has been invited to take part in a holiday talk show on radio Mayak to present and talk about some of the songs she has recorded with her rock band Oxy Rocks.The show, which will be dedicated to the Defenders of the Fatherland holiday on Sun., will air from noon to one p.m. on Mayak.

[15-02-2008] Oksana Mysina and Oxy Rocks in Yekaterinburg
Oxy Rocks will give its first solo concert in the city of Yekaterinburg on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. at the “Ural“ culture palace. This hall, which has just been remodeled, is expected to be one of the
finest concert venues in Russia. Oxy Rocks will perform songs from its „Blues-Rock Mood” album and from the new album it is currently recording.


[13-02-2008] 300th Performance of “K. I. from “Crime””
Today, February 13 at 7 p.m. Oksana Mysina will perform Kama Ginkas's famous production of “K. I. from'Crime'” for the 300th time. We would like to congratulate Oksana, Kama Mironovich, Daniil Gink (who wrote the play based on Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel “Crime and Punishment”), the 17 children who have performed with Oksana over the years, Andrei Ruchkin who has handled the sound for almost all the shows, and everyone else who has had a hand in this extraordinary success.


[11-02-2008] Oxy Rocks on the Charts of Realmusic.ru
Oxy Rocks entered 16 of their songs in the “indie rock” category of the www.realmusic.ru website at the end of January. By Monday morning on February 11, all of the songs had risen from approximately 300th place into the Top 40. The Oxy Rocks cover version of Bob Dylan's “Things Have Changed” has risen to 5th place in the charts. “The Message” was at 11th place and “Potion for Eternal Love” was in the 14th slot. In addition to changing the categories of several songs (moving several to hard rock, pop-rock, art-rock and rock'n' roll) we added three new songs to the website — “Let's Paint the World Anew“ (jazz vocal), “Don't Beckon, Moon!” (jazz vocal) and „The Sickle Song” (pop-rock). Oksana Mysina will be the guest of Vadim Vernik on the „Radio in the Bushes” program on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 5:35 p.m. on radio “Kul'tura.“ They will talk about Oksana's work with her band Oxy Rocks and listen to several newly-recorded songs off of the band's second album. Radio „Kul'tura” can be found at 91.6 on the FM dial.


[7-02-2008] “The Agit-Brigade'Kill the Enemy!'“ Opens at the Khudozhestvenny
Vitaly Melnikov's latest film, „The Agit-Brigade'Kill the Enemy!'” begins a run at the Khudozhestvenny film theater on Novy Arbat on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. Several of the films stars will be on hand at the theater for the first showing, including Viktor Sukhorukov and Oksana Mysina.


[7-02-2008] Oxy Rocks on “Life is Grand!“

Oksana Mysina and Oxy Rocks will perform as guests on the „Life is Grand!” program on the STS channel on Feb. 9 from 9 to 11 a.m. The will perform a cover of The Brecht-Weil classic “Mack the Knife“ (joined on sax by the famous saxophonist Georgy Garanyan) and they will play their own song „Potion for Eternal Love” (with Levon Oganezov guesting on keyboards).

If you missed Oksana Mysina and her husband John Freedman talking about his hometown of Apple Valley, CA, on the “Story of a City” program on Ekho Moskvy radio, you can still log onto the station's website to hear an archived version. The program is hosted by the witty team of Masha Mayers and Boris Tumanov and they not only explained why John ended up on the front page of the local newspaper when he was 2 years old, but they also got Oksana to admit what she likes doing best during a rainstorm in the desert. Oksana Mysina will be joined by her husband John Freedman on the “Story of a City” program on Moscow Echo radio on Sunday, Feb. 3 at 11 p.m. They will talk about John's hometown of Apple Valley in the Mojave Desert in Southern California. The program will include a song written by Oksana, and recorded by her band Oxy Rocks, about the trips she has taken to Apple Valley.
