[6-07-2007] Oxy Rocks to Tape Two Songs for TV
On Saturday July 7, Oksana Mysina and her rock band Oxy Rocks will tape two songs for a future broadcast of the television show “Life Is Beautiful.” They will be joined on keyboards by special guest Levon Oganezov. It's a small reunion of sorts — both Oksana and Oganezov worked on “They Preserve So Much That Is Dear,” a documentary film about Nikolai Erdman and Angelina Stepanova. The air date for the program has not yet been announced.

[5-07-2007] Oxy Rocks on Triumphal Square in September

[2-07-2007] Oksana Mysina on Kama Ginkas
Oksana Mysina was recently asked to jot down some of her impressions about Kama Ginkas for a newspaper. You can read that text by going to the First-Person Singular segment on Oksana's personal page.

[2-07-2007] In Praise and in Memory of Grisha Gurvich
Oksana Mysina recently discovered a song she wrote for Grisha Gurvich when going through some of her old papers. The occasion was the 6th anniversary of Grisha's fabulous Bat cabaret theater in 1995. Grisha's death in 1999 was a blow to Moscow and Moscow theater — his absence is felt every day. We are happy to share here memories of days when Grisha was running one of the most festive, most enjoyable theaters in town. For those who can read Russian, go to the First-person Singular column on Oksana's page to read the text of Oksana's jocular “ode” to Grisha Gurvich.
