[28-02-2007] Oksana Mysina on Cappuccino
Oksana Mysina will be the guest on the the Kul'tura Channel's Cappuccino program on Sunday morning, March 4, at 10 a.m. On the program Oksana performs with her rock band Oxy Rocks and answers questions on many topics, including her love for the music of Etta James and the Buena Vista Social Club; her admiration for Anatoly Vasilyev and her attitude to Moscow.
[27-02-2007] Andersen and Erdman/Stepanova in Gatchina
Oksana Mysina will travel to St. Petersburg for the Gatchina film festival which takes place at the beginning of March. She will be there to attend showings of two of her most recent movies — Eldar Ryazanov's Andersen and Galina Yevtushenko's They Preserve So Much That is Dear, a documentary film about the relationship between the playwright Nikolai Erdman and the actress Angelina Stepanova. Oksana is the voice of Stepanova in this film.

On March 1 the magazine Vash Dosug will publish an interview with Oksana Mysina in which she offers her opinions about a range of topics, artists and news events, including Chuck Berry's Moscow concert, Ivan Vyrypayev's film Euphoria, Kristina Orbakaite in Lovey Dovey and many others.

Everybody at the Oksana Mysina Brotherhood is happy to congratulate Alexander Topuriya for doing such a brilliant job in his new role as Oedipus in Viktor Korkiya's Ariston! The same goes for Oleg Tolkunov who is marvelous as Creon. They next can be seen when Ariston plays March 19 at the ApARTe Theater.
[16-02-2007] Apostles of the Theater
On Sunday, Feb. 18 at 9:40 p.m., the Culture channel will air the program Apostles of the Theater, drawn from an evening recently held at the Actors House. At this evening Oksana Mysina spoke about her work with the director Boris Lvov-Anokhin and played a new song with her guitarists Sergei Shchetinin and Alexander Krasnoshchyok.
[15-02-2007] Eldar Ryazanov Meets the Public
Eldar Ryazanov has gathered a group of friends and colleagues with whom he will share the stage at his Eldar Club on Saturday, Feb. 17. Ryazanov himself will spend plenty of time on stage, but he will also share it with Lyudmila Gurchenko, Alyona Babenko, Larisa Golubkina, Fyodor Chekhankov, Sergei Nikitin and Oksana Mysina. Babenko, Chekhankov and Mysina performed in Ryazanov's latest film, Andersen, which is now available on DVD. It is also possible that Valentin Gaft will put in an appearance on Saturday.
[12-02-2007] Ariston in place of Quixote and Sancho
Viktor Korkiya's Ariston will now play two days in a row, Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 19 and 20. The next scheduled performance of Quixote and Sancho will be in March. The reason for the change is that two new actors have joined the cast of Ariston. Alexander Topuriya has taken over the lead role of Oedipus and Oleg Tolkunov will be playing Creon.

A mini-review of the new Oxy Rocks album, Blues-Rock Mood, has appeared in Gde magazine. Daniil Tkach showed a subtle knowledge of musical style by drawing parrallels between the singing of Oksana Mysina and the great Etta James, one of Oksana's all-time favorite singers. [1-02-2007] Oksana Mysina on Stage in February
Oksana Mysina will perform in Kama Ginkas's production of K. I. from'Crime' at the Theater Yunogo Zritelya on Feb. 6. She will perform in her own productions of Viktor Korkiya's Ariston and Quixote and Sancho on Feb. 19 and 20, respectively, at the ApARTe Theater. All shows begin at 7 p.m.
