[31-08-2004] Alexei Zuyev
On September 4 at 5:55 p.m., DTV will broadcast the film Tsarevich Alexei, starring Alexei Zuyev (who plays Don Quixote in Quixote and Sancho) in the title role. This was Zuyev's first major work in film and it won him a Kumir (Idol) prize in the debut category as well as bringing him a nomination for a Nika award. Tsarevich Alexei (1997) is the second film in Vitaly Melnikov's historical trilogy which also includes The Royal Hunt (1990) and the recent film Poor, Poor Pavel (2003) which stars Viktor Sukhorukov, Oleg Yankovsky and Oksana Mysina.
[23-08-2004] Shukshin's Stories
Oksana Mysina's latest movie, «Wilting — Losing», will run on the ORT channel on August 29 at 6:10 p.m. It is the 6th and concluding episode in a series of six movies called Shukshin's Stories, based on works by Vasily Shukshin. Also appearing in the movie are Valery Barinov, Andrei Panin and Andrei Demidov. The entire series was directed by Arkady Sirenko and was produced by the television and radio company YuGRA with the assistance of KRUG (Mosfilm).

Two songs that Oxy Rocks recorded in July at the Gigant Records Studio in Moscow can now be downloaded on this site -- "Message" (words by Oksana Mysina; music by Dmitry Yershov) and "Muchacha" (words by Oksana Mysina; music by Sergei Shchetinin). Also newly available for downloading is a version of the Spanish-language song "Viente anos" which was recorded as an experiment by the band in the early spring.
